Areed's Tasty Tuna Pasta

Ingredients

• 1 Pack Al Khaleejia Pasta

• 1 Can Safa Peeled Tomatoes 400g

• 1 Can Safa Tomato Paste

• 1 Can Al Khaleejia Tuna Chunks 160g

• Sunflower Oil

• 1 Clove Garlic

• 1 Half Onion

🍝 Areed’s Tasty Tuna Pasta

Step 1 – Cook the pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add 1 pack Al Khaleejia Pasta and cook until al dente (as per pack instructions).

Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

 

Step 2 – Prepare the sauce

Finely chop ½ onion and mince 1 garlic clove.

Heat 1–2 tbsp sunflower oil in a pan over medium heat.

Sauté the onion for 3–4 minutes until soft, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Add Safa Tomato Paste and cook for 1 minute to bring out the flavor.

Pour in the Safa Peeled Tomatoes, breaking them gently with a spoon, and simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

 

Step 3 – Add tuna & finish

Add Al Khaleejia Tuna Chunks (drained) to the sauce and stir gently to warm through.

Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together, loosening with reserved pasta water if needed for a silky sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot and enjoy!
